Takeshi "TK" Mori

TK is a Managing Partner at GoAhead Ventures. TK led our investments in Alpha-MRI and HackerRank. TK brings expertise in hardware investments and helping companies with Japanese market expansion if needed. TK has three IPOs and 5 M&A exits from previous investments.


TK has over twenty five years of investment, engineering, entrepreneurship, and U.S.-Japan operations experience. Prior to GoAhead, TK was co-founder and managing director of ZenShin Capital. TK also served as an advisor to the venture capital operation of Tudor Capital Japan, and a Vice President at OnFiber Communications Inc (acquired by Qwest). 

Clancey Stahr

Stanford BS in MS&E

Clancey is a Managing Partner at GoAhead Ventures. Clancey led our investments in VideoAmp, OOHLALA, and Simple Emotion. Clancey brings expertise in sourcing Stanford entrepreneurs and adTech deals for the fund. 


Clancey was previously a part of Stanford's business association for entrepreneurial students. He was the first employee at Scriba Technologies, a voice recognition company using artificial neural networks to achieve VR locally.

Phil Brady

Phil is a Managing Partner at GoAhead Ventures. Phil led our investments in Gameflip and Solarion Capital. Phil brings expertise in sourcing Stanford entrepreneurs as well as finTech deals for the fund.

Phil is the founder of Copernican Solutions, a startup consulting firm out of Stanford. He was previously on the deal team at Andreessen Horowitz, where he focused on IoT and bitcoin. Phil has also spent time working at tech startups such as Airware and Xapo, as well as PE/VC firms such as Lindsay Goldberg in NY and Inventure Oy in Finland.
